Freshness is not the same as truth. It is the question of whether a claim is still safe to use without checking again.

Claim half-life

Different claims decay at different speeds. Prices may decay quickly. Product capabilities may decay by version. Leadership facts may change suddenly. Mathematical facts may barely decay at all.
